We are the University of Sheffield Student Union’s society for students of German, German-speaking natives and those who have an interest in Germanic culture. Originally solely a departmental society, DV has progressed to much more! Our objectives are to bring together people with a love of German speaking countries, to hold social events with said people that celebrate ‘all things Germanic.’ Also to give members the opportunity to visit German-speaking countries.
