Durham African Caribbean Society
University of Durham
The ACS provides a platform to create awareness in different ways on different matters. We strive to continuously enlighten members as well as all others interested, about common misconceptions and issues faced by the African and Caribbean societies. Also, we members form a supportive structure to ease the academic stress on one another. Our aim is to have an educated membership and student body as a whole.
Our society is currently undergoing a rebranding and a relaunch in time for the new academic year. We believe, this relaunch will enrich our current and prospectus members’ experience. Our Society is a collection of students from various backgrounds, studying a variety of courses (Business School, STEM, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Languages, Liberal Arts and many more) with both undergraduates and postgraduates. Our Social Media pages our growing with a total of 500+ students (both current and alumni), following our: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat pages.
