UCL is a world-leading university that harbours some of the most intelligent people in the world, however, many students lack one of the most essential skills needed to succeed in their future careers- sales. The UCL Sales Society was created after noticing that many students struggled with selling an idea, a product or even convincing firms that they were the best fit for a job role. There is definitely a selling skills gap among university students and the Society was founded with the aim to reduce it.
Every single committee member is prepared to equip as many UCL students as possible with excellent sales skills, not only improving their chances of getting their dream jobs, but also making them valuable assets for any firm. Founder and president Chukwudi D. Okoro envisions UCL Sales Society to be a community that provides the required environment for students to develop a critical interpersonal skill that has been proven to contribute to better future career growth and development.
