UCL Netball Club
University College London
UCL Netball is a thriving sports society with approximately 100 active members. The Club comprises of 5 undergraduate competitive teams, a postgraduate competitive team and a budding social team.
Although we are primarily a female club, the club is inclusive of young men through our social netball team as we promote equal opportunity within sport. Similarly, we aim to make our club as inclusive as possible, an example of this is involving ourselves with the Team UCL Pride in Sport initiative.
Our members are hard-working, intelligent young people, able to balance the high demands of an academic university, whilst also excelling in sport. As a club, UCL Netball is very successful in the leagues we compete in. This year our first team competed in the play-offs for the British Universities Colleges Sports (BUCS) premier league, the highest league within university sport. We also support high performance athletes, including an athlete who competes in the Vitality Netball Super league, the highest level of club netball in the UK.
As a club, we also hold a number of charity events throughout the year, including our annual charity ball and our charity netball tournament, Interclub.
