TeddyBear Hospital
Technology and Medicine
2018
TeddyBear Hospital is a society that aims to teach children about the importance of doctors, hospitals and challenging their fear of the white coat.
Our aim is to educate primary school children on basic medical themes; we teach them what to say when they dial 999, how to eat healthily, to exercise and more.
Our events also help medical students improve their paediatric skills and practice communicating with children.
We run weekly sessions on Wednesday afternoons in primary schools and have yearly events at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
