London School of Economics and Political Science
iFemSoc is formed of students registered at LSE, studying a wide range of degrees and from an even wider range of backgrounds. The society has recently been revived at LSE but we’re determined to cement our position as a major player on campus celebrating and advocating for women and non-binary people of all races, genders, able-bodiedness and sexual orientations. We’re also spearheading the formation of a London-based feminist society network to boost a sense of community and solidarity.
Our event line-up this year includes Consent Week and International Women’s Week events involving panels, workshops, exhibitions; women focussed club nights and socials aimed at inclusion and education; an online magazine or “zine”, and a line up of panellists and speakers on everything from empowerment in the workplace to self care practices.
Our October 22nd launch event is focused on building a community of people passionate about womxn’s empowerment whilst also providing the opportunity to express themselves through multiple mediums in the workshops on offer.
