LSESU International Development Society
London School of Economics and Political Science
We aim to foster a deeper and more critical understanding of international development amongst the LSE student body. Through interactive workshops, networking evenings, panel discussions and other creative social events, we encourage our members to engage with professionals and academics in order to gain inspiration and spur positive change. For our active engagement with the student body last year, we won the highest award by the LSE Student Union, a “Gold Star” Society. Our main focus for 2019/20 is on:
Intimate Career Talk sessions with sponsors and alumni
International Development Student Conference (Lent Term 2020)
In 2018/19, we attracted a diverse mix of students; one third were postgraduate students, 56% were non-white. The three biggest countries of residence were England, the United States and France. The most-studied disciplines were Economics, Geography, Mathematics and Management.
Our Platinum sponsorship arrangement (£1000+) includes:
Logo, information and ten opportunities on InterDev website, Facebook page and private Facebook group
Promotional materials distributed at Freshers Fair and events
Advertisement of ten opportunities included in newsletter
Logo included on all merchandise materials and newsletters
Two events hosted by InterDev for sponsor on campus
We also offer opportunities for LSE alumni to get involved in our work. Check the InterDev Website, Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with our society's activities.
